It is no surprise that I have gone into the field of books, which started because of my love of reading. I am always on a quest to find books about the field of conservation and the history of books. In an effort to be organized, I have compiled a list on Amazon of books I want to learn from and thought I’d share with others who are in search of reading recommendations on book conservation. I have only made it through a couple of books, but I am in the process of working on an annotated bibliography and this list helps me keep track of where I am.
Many books are not available through Amazon or are on the expensive side, so check your local libraries to see if there’s a copy in your area. Also, Oak Knoll Press has a wonderful selection of hard to find books.
Any recommendations?
