I've been asked to do a promotional flier for a former workplace and I decided to pull out all the big guns and do hand lettered type. Here's my discovery for today, which is based off the Marcelle font offered for free at dafont.com. I needed something much more cleaner, smoother and not such thin lines, so I hand drew from my perspective. Sports fonts are very inspiring!

Tears and Type
Been busy the last couple days with new projects. Spent three hours yesterday rescanning old journal entries for my discovery book I'm working on. It was a very emotional experience going through the diaries of my teenage self. Heartbreaking at times with a few tears involved (ah, the self-esteem of a 14 year-old), but it'll make for an even better understanding of my discovery process.
